Enter the first day of BHT services and the planned first day of independent service. The six-month point is a planning estimate; confirm actual deadlines and each person's requirements with your OMHSAS licensing representative.
How to use the dates
For someone without prior BHT service experience, 55 Pa. Code § 5240.73(c)–(d) addresses at least 30 hours of Department-approved training before independent service and at least 24 hours within the first six months of providing BHT services. Review the required topics, training approvals and individual plan; this tool does not determine eligibility or completion.

Considering training for the team?
The PA IBHS ten-seat recording pack is $890 once, with 17 recorded sessions and slides and six months of access per seat from setup. It documents training clock hours, not BACB continuing-education credit, and does not by itself establish completion of initial training. Some learner-facing library descriptions currently mention CE; ask support before relying on those descriptions. Your clinical lead and licensing representative decide what fits each person’s plan.
