Which team training fits your PA agency?
These are different courses for different needs. Start with the role, setting and required training for your team; use your agency’s training plan and ask your OMHSAS licensing representative how requirements apply.

Before you choose
The Level 1 course draws largely on work with young children in classrooms and homes. It does not cover restraint, restrictive procedures, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care or adult services. Support for a particular person follows their plan and the clinician who wrote it. Session 1 presents information from 2012; since 2013, the DSM-5 has classified autism under one diagnosis, autism spectrum disorder.
For the PA pack, your clinical lead and OMHSAS licensing representative should review the actual topics, hours and required additional training for each person. Obtain mandated-reporting and first-aid training through the providers specified in the DHS approval process; verify CPR as well. Some PA-pack recordings mention APA continuing-education credit; that credit is unavailable because Special Learning is not an APA-approved sponsor. Neither offer is RBT certification.
